Seared Scallops
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/8 teaspoon olive oil
Preparation
Place the butter and oil in a sauté pan over high heat. When the butter melts and the mixture is hot, place the scallops in the pan in a single layer, not touching one another. With tongs, turn them over after one minute, depending on size. Do the same on the other side. They will be nicely seared.
I normally serve three per serving, depending on size.
