Ingredients
Crow Farm Peach Bourbon Smash
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1 ounce thyme simple syrup (recipe follows) or plain simple syrup
- 1 ripe peach
- Ice
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
Thyme Simple Syrup
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 5-6 sprigs of thyme
Preparation
Crow Farm Peach Bourbon Smash
In a martini shaker, add bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup. Cut peach in half, remove pit and squeeze the peach in your hand (or through a citrus press) over the martini shaker. Any peach pieces that fall in are fine.
Thyme Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, water and thyme.
Once it boils, remove from heat and let cool completely.
Remove thyme and transfer to a container and chill in the fridge until ready to use.
