The dish I love to make at home: Lamb sausage stuffed eggplant

Why I love this dish: I found this lamb sausage and fell in love with it. This is one of the many delicious ways to enjoy it. Lamb is not a meat that everyone likes or is used to eating, but the lamb from a local farm is far less gamey and has a deep rich flavor that I think anyone would enjoy. I have even had members of my family that aren’t crazy about lamb enjoy this meal immensely. I pair it with either fresh steamed asparagus or sautéed bright light swiss chard, grilled pita bread with Za’atar spice and a nice tzatziki sauce. Any leftover filling can be frozen and then used for stuffed mushrooms or stuffed cocktail peppers (those cute little colorful ones) as a quick appetizer.

What’s new for 2021 at Pisces? We are looking forward to another great season at Pisces. We will have our patio open as soon as it warms up. We have some great new dishes that we are excited to try, and our bartender James has been busy coming up with some awesome new cocktails. Our wine list will have more European wines this year - since travel is restricted, we will do our best to bring those wines to you. We are also going to offer more BFU (Better For You) beverages and drinks that will feature low or no alcohol – our younger guests are always looking for that type of thing. As always, we will be taking every precaution necessary to keep our staff and guests safe. We are stronger together and are really excited about the upcoming season!
