The “cup” is from my grandfather, who was the bartender before my dad and was a big better on the ponies. The drink he made was the original Classic Old Fashioned, which was invented in Louisville, Kentucky.

Ingredients
- 1 cube of sugar
- Splash of water
- 2 dashes of bitters
- 2 oz of Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
- Maraschino cherry
- Orange slice
Preparation
Place sugar cube, water and bitters in a stirrup cup. Stir to combine, then add the ice cubes. Pour bourbon over the ice and garnish with the orange slice and cherry.
