
Hydrangea Buck
Savoring food and drink from these festivals is an option anytime. Here are two ideas from Kathryn’s book, slightly adapted. The Hydrangea Buck was created in honor of July’s Hydrangea Festival. And who could resist an award-winning Lobster BLT?

This is one of the hydrangea-themed drinks created for the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival. After visiting the festival gardens, one can participate in a hydrangea-themed Cocktail Trail, with dozens of restaurants from Sandwich to Provincetown offering special libations.
Ingredients
- 2 parts 888 Blueberry Vodka
- 1 part bourbon
- ½ part lemon juice
- ½ part simple syrup
- 1 part cranberry juice
Instructions
- To make simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water and cook until sugar has dissolved. Cool before using. Mix all ingredients in a shaker, pour, and serve. Top with a floater of Cape Cod Summer Ale!
