Join the Women of Fishing Families at this year's Blessing of the Fleet and Fishermen's Festival! A free community day for all families, fun, food, faith and fishermen! 

11:00 - Blessing of the Fleet

The Rev. Brian W. McGurk, rector of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, along with the Rev. Joseph Marcio, pastor of the First Congregational Church, will lead an inter-faith spiritual service to bless Chatham's commercial fishing fleet and honor fishing families past and present with the wreath laying ceremony. Throughout the service we will hear beautiful music from the Monomoy Bell Choir and students from Nauset High School chorus. 

11:45am-3:00pm 

The Fishermen's Festival immediately follows the blessing ceremony with local seafood, food trucks, cash bar sponsored by Devil's Purse Brewing Co., kids activities including face painting, bouncy house & hula hooping, "clamhole" toss, Fishermen's Olympics relay race, and music by the SeaFire Kids, Codsmack, and Sarah Swain & the Oh Boys.

***There will be extra parking at the Chatham Elementary School -147 Depot Rd, Chatham, MA 02633 - with a van running to and from the Fish Peir from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm ***
