Dave Scandurra of Edible Landscapes wll speak on developing the Cape Cod Food Forest Project to map and plant native, food-bearing tree and nut species that support both human and animal communities and restore local biodiversity. Food forests are productive, versatile and property enhancing, while creating wildlife habitat and a ready suppy of nutritious food for the Cape community. Food forests can serve as a model of self sustainable, environmentally friendly, edible landscapes, as well as provide educational opportunities for children and adults to explore environmental issues, discover native wild foods and reconnect with nature.

Free and open to the public.
