Apple Pie 101

It’s “pie season” and the pros at The Centerville Pie Company are hosting an interactive workshop to help take your homemade holiday pies up a notch

Geared for a parent and child to attend together teams will learn the secrets to making a crisp apple pie from scratch. Techniques will include tips for making dough, how to cut the apples, secrets for a successful filling and perfect baking. Students will take home their full sized pie, along with class notes, a Centerville Pie server and other fun prizes. Cape Cod Times Food Editor Gwenn Friss will be on hand to emcee the workshop and facilitate the Q&As.

Space is limited so reservations will be accepted on a first come first served basis. The fee is $20 per pair with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Cape Cod Times Needy Fund. The reservation deadline is Monday, October 17.
